We are designers and builders, but this is a boutique operation with a small experienced crew. The chief is the builder Annie, who is passionate about building and design. We are totally dedicated in achieving the most satisfactory result for our clients. We want that happy customer, and we mean the one who stays happy long after the end of the project.
The company operates with an open mind, looking at small jobs and large jobs. For us, nothing is too hard, and we deliver a very personal service.
We understand that many people have some doubt about the building process. They imagine or sorts of things and are fearful of the level of stress they might encounter.
If this is you, please do not worry, because you have come to the right place. Our own rather unique system, with its associated care, means that you will avoid the stress. We encourage you to take action and travel with us on the building journey.
STRESS FACTOR 1: LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION
“Who can I talk to?” “Is there someone who can tell me what is up.”
Our communication level is top class. You will talk the Managing Director, Builder Annie, from day one. We will cover all areas of interest, from planning to budgeting, through selection and concept design, and much more. Annie will always be available to you.
N.B. Our Stage Report and Quality Control Report will be sent to you regularly.
STRESS FACTOR 2: BEING LEFT IN THE DARK
“What’s going on? Who is doing what, and when?”
Throughout the entire building process, you know that you are not alone, and you relax as you see us carefully manage the whole process. Of course, you are a partner in collaboration. You will be able to monitor the project, you will know what is going on. At any time you can ring and chat.
As advised. all communication is with your builder. We promise that the build process will be rewarding, and stress-free. You will get assistance in every aspect, such as selection of materials, appliances, colour planning, and space utilisation.
STRESS FACTOR 3: DESIGN OUTCOME NOT WHAT EXPECTED
“I thought I was getting a gable with decorative trim?”
3D modelling is available, but not always necessary. If you choose this option you will have a fantastic opportunity to ensure that the final outcome matches your early ideas.
We go one step further than simple 3D. Your dream will come true, because our unique 3D Model system closes the gap. Ask for more.
The system incorporates 3D Design with our Selection System. You work with us to select materials, appliances, and changes to the model. We slowly narrow the gap between expectation and reality.
STRESS FACTOR 4: BLOW BUDGET
“Oh heck, where will I get those dollars?”
For most people, the major problem is a fear of blowing the budget. Even this we do in a completely different style. Years of experience in quantity and costing have assisted us in creating a special system backed by the extra bonus of Annie’s accounting skills. We are able to help you work out your priorities. We then work closely by your side to ensure that your project can be delivered at a price within your budget. By our guarantee of a fixed price with no builder-initiated variations, we help you to overcome the biggest stress factor in building a home.
STRESS FACTOR 5: LONG DELAYS
“Well, I can see I won’t be in for Xmas, but when will you finish?”
We are a small operation and we limit the number of projects that we undertake at any time. This makes it easier to give our clients more than adequate service. When necessary, we give our clients undivided attention. Annie will always spend the bulk of her time managing the schedule and supervising the quality of work on site. Also, when we promise a finish date, we try our very best to achieve that date, and usually, we deliver.
STRESS FACTOR 6: QUALITY
“That doesn’t look too good. Can you change it and make it look great?”
As per our previous note, Annie is on site almost every day. She inspects, and you get a quality control checklist at intervals.
Often renovation jobs do not require mandatory inspections via the building surveyor. However, we do our own quality checks regularly. And you get the chance to review these.
Quality comes from regular inspections carried out by qualified, caring professionals. It takes time and effort. Annie does it well.
